Venice Rio

The sun was a bit shy for most of my trip to Venice earlier this year. And whilst Venice is enchanting even on a damp, overcast day, it truly sings when the sun shines. This view of one of the many Rio's is fairly typical. I am utterly convinced that there isn't a straight line or perpendicular surface anywhere to be found there, which creates some interesting problems when it comes to taking photographs.
