This drawing almost didn’t get finished!
Although I really liked the subject, it didn’t seem to have the traditional elements of composition.
It became stuck and was put on one side for several weeks while I completed other pieces.
I needed one more piece to complete a small portfolio and dug it out again, thinking ‘oh, bloody finish it!’
Whether or not it fits a traditional composition, it is one of my most popular pieces.
