I'd called into Raveningham Arts Centre whilst out looking for suitable subjects.
The light had been sporadic and I was feeling disheartened that I hadn't found any strong images that I felt would make a good subject.
There is a large fish pond in the grounds and I'd taken quite a few photos out of my own fascination with the abstract qualities of water.
I walked into the building as the sun came out and turned in one direction as the sun came blazing through the window.
To my shame, I immediately framed a shot as the owner stood behind me, who promptly and quite rightly asked what I was doing.
I called this 'Lost and Found' because of the way the glare of this brilliant sunlight obscures objects just as effectively as a shadow.
After completing this drawing, I returned with it to the Pond Cafe to show the owner and apologise for my thoughtlessness, I think he liked the drawing.
