I chanced to be at Potter Heigham whilst alterations were underway at one of the boatyards. It was a vibrant day, if I recall correctly it was also my birthday.

It's unusual to find water this still in my experience and it was the clarity of the reflections that grabbed my interest.

I hadn't done any serious drawing in 20 years and when I was looking for a challenging subject to see whether I could still do it, this one came to mind.
