I visited Port Isaac at the end of June 07, a wonderful year for clouds.

This was one of the brighter moments.....

Port Isaac is a beautiful place, even in the rain. There are a number of things that appealed to me about this subject, the sense of energy and texture of the rocks, contrasting the age and durability of the rocks with the precarious position of the house perched so close to the edge seemed almost like 'holding your breath'.

Parts of the Norfolk coastline suffers serious erosion and it isn't that uncommon for properties in some places to simply collapse onto the beach. These rocks look far more durable but travel a little further from Port Isaac to Tintagel and you'll see how the open sea is eroding the land between the castle and mainland.

Port Isaac is protected to some extent by the harbour, so with good fortune, this house will continue for a long time yet.

Perhaps someone who knows the area would be able to provide the name of the house?
